Home at last

Today was another long driving day from Niagara Falls to Traverse City. We had an unexpected delay at the US border...we were randomly chosen for a customs inspection...an hour delay and then we were on our way. It was beautiful , sunny and cool in Michigan. Good to be home. We arrived about 6pm and did some unpacking...most to be done tomorrow. The house and lawn looked great thanks to Patricks good care. My poppies have bloomed and gone but the Iris (in the background) are in full bloom. We will spend Fathers Day with Patrick and Heather on our deck and then head out to the cabin on monday pm. We will not be daily bloggers for a few weeks until we leave for the west on July 3rd...however i will let everyone know how many big fish we catch during the Hex Hatch the next few weeks.
Lesson for the Day: As Dorothy said "There is no place like home"
