We spent the weekend at the cabin and it was COLD...- 18 Saturday morning and then it got up to 30 in the afternoon. Love it. Today is also in the 30's but some rain/sleet is coming our way. Why can't it just snow!
The picture above looks crisp and cold and it was all of that. I did some XC skiing and sewing. We had dinner with the Smiths and Barb made a fantastic Indian dinner(India Indian). Mark Midorski joined us after racing in the TC Vassa and also TC friend Terry Collins. All in all a nice relaxing weekend. Mike spent last week in Washington DC for his cigar group..meetings and gladhanding with legislators. He was exhausted and got home just before the storm that socked in the east coast. He relaxed and is deep into his book with his dog at his feet...how perfect.
His phone died during the trip so we went to the Sprint store to look at options. He now has a BIG phone...a Galaxy and it is fantastic. He can see everything so well and can now text much easier than before.
I am so happy for him as I think it will make everything much easier. It rides in his shirt pocket and I hope it is big enough that he does not loose it! We are starting to pack for our 10 days in Mexico...south of Cancun on the Yucatan Penn. We will be fishing and relaxing Yea!! I should be able to send a blog entry from there...we will see. I am sure you all notice that there is not a Finnley picture in this blog entry. I get her tomorrow so will have to collect some pictures for a new entry. She is just adorable!
